
Do you see the suggested horizon in this image? It is the feet of marathon runners moving across a blue carpet in Prague, very near the top of the frame. The feet and simple silhouetted shapes jutting out are just enough to compete this simple arrangement, which is nothing more than the use of the Suggestion of Thirds. This is an example of how simplicity can lead to a graphically strong composition.
