When lit by my SB-900 flash, this
detail of chipped and peeling paint on the side of a Dumpster
reveals wonderful color and texture. Nice as it is in the
horizontal format, it takes on a whole new energy when flipped to a
vertical in Photoshop. Depending on how it is flipped, the
“lightning bolt” can also be seen as a syringe—either way, both
verticals are much more active than the horizontal.
