Yum Taeng – Gurkensalat

 

Zutaten für 4 Portionen 

1 Salatgurke 

2 Schalotten 

1 Rote Chili 

1/3 Tasse Essig 

2 EL Zucker 

½ EL Salz 

1 TL Korianderblätter, gehackt 

Zubereitung 

Die Gurke waschen und in kleine Würfel schneiden. Die Schalotten und die Chili in dünne Scheiben schneiden. Gurke, Schalotten und Chili in eine Schüssel geben und vermischen. 

Den Essig mit Zucker und Salz unter ständigem Rühren erwärmen bis sich der Zucker völlig aufgelöst hat. Wenn die Mischung zum Kochen kommt, von der Herdplatte nehmen und abkühlen lassen. Danach über die Gurke geben und den Salat mit dem Koriander verzieren.
