3. Vanilla Crepes with Toasted Walnuts and Chocolate Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups low-fat milk
  • 2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup toasted walnuts, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • Coconut oil for greasing

Directions

  • Stir together flour, honey, and salt in a medium bowl. Beat together the eggs and milk until smooth then add the flour mixture; mix in vanilla and butter.
  • Grease a crepe pan with coconut oil. Place pan over medium heat.
  • Pour batter into the pan, about 4 tablespoons for each crepe. Tip to spread the batter thinly to the edges and brown on both sides.
  • Drizzle crepes with chocolate syrup then add walnuts over the top.
