Capturing a “ghost” on your digital sensor (or film) can be trickier than it looks. How long should you expose in hopes of recording the spirit? How do you maintain sharpness in the surrounding scenery while still portraying the fluid movement of your ethereal subject? Most important, how do you turn an image of what may look like a normal person into a paranormal photograph full of ghostly movement and energy?
